MariaSCOTT - (BARBARAVILLE)Maria (Meme) nee Holgate, passed away on Thursday 6th August 2026, as the result of a tragic accident, aged 60 years.

Beloved wife and soul mate of Paul, a much loved mum of Duncan and Callum, mother in law and friend of Laura, loving daughter of Louisa, a dear sister of Antonia and sister in law of Michael and a cherished auntie of Jenny, Rachel, Harry and David. Meme will be very much missed by all of her extended family and many friends.

Requiem Mass to be held in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Invergordon on Monday 31st August 2026, commencing at 11am, thereafter to Rosskeen Cemetery.

All friends respectfully invited. Colourful clothing welcome. Family flowers only please, but a donation, if desired, can be made at the Mass for Invergordon R.N.L.I and Blooming Gardners.

Maria, the kindest person I had the pleasure to cross paths with.

You had the most amazing warmth, energy and positivity, it radiated. As well as the ability to support and connect with anyone and everyone. You made everything feel that bit easier.

I would think of you too perfect, if I did not see how you take your tea! I will always think of you when I see a Simmons bakery, alpaca or questionable cup of tea.

My condolences to everyone who knows and love you, especially to your nearest and dearest.
